El Segundo January Real Estate Recap

It was a bit of a slower month for real estate in El Segundo with only 12 homes selling in January.   That’s a bit off of the norm but certainly not for the first month of the year as  December is always slow with fewer homes going into escrow due to the holidays.  The number of homes might have been a bit down but prices were very impressive once again with a median home price of $1,522,000 for homes that sold in El Segundo during January.

2020 Real Estate Recap for El Segundo CA

What a great year it was for real estate in El Segundo….both in terms of the number of homes that sold as well as the home prices.

Take a look below for a quick overview of the 2020 real estate market in El Segundo.  There were 129 home sales during the year with an impressive median home price of $1,380,000.  The average price per square foot was $721 which was a big jump from the $656 in 2019.  The average days o market was a brief 32.

The Highest Priced Sale in El Segundo in 2020 – 709 W Pine Closes at $3,250,000

709 Pine Avenue Sells at $3,250,000

2020 was an impressive year for home prices in El Segundo with a median sales price of $1,380,000. The high water mark for the year but a very significant margin was the single family home at 709 W Pine, El Segundo. The home offered 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a bit over 4,700 square feet on an oversized 10,000+ foot lot.
