2019 Year in Review – El Segundo Home Sales
2019 started fairly busy but slowed dramatically towards the end of the year with only 9 homes currently for sale in this coastal community. During 2019 we saw 139 on market home sales in El Segundo with a median list price of $1,159,000 and a median sold price of $1,152,000 indicating a very strong sellers market.

That doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon with such a few number of active homes for sale in El Segundo to start the year. All seven of the most inexpensive sales of the year were in the Pacific Sands condo complex at 770 W Imperial and the most expensive home sold for $2,550,000 and was a new construction 5 bedroom single family home at 719 Maryland in the heart of the community.

New Construction Powers October Home Prices in El Segundo
Several new construction homes drove the real estate market in October to a very high median price. With 3 homes built in 2018 selling in the month the median home price in El Segundo was $1,595,000 which was well above the norm. October saw 8 sold homes in this coastal community with the lowest priced sale of the month at $503,000 for a 2 bed/2 bath condo on Imperial and the largest sale at $1,914,510 for one of the new construction homes in the brand new community just off of Imperial Highway.
