Waypointe townhomes in El Segundo
There are very few options in the South Bay for new or newer construction complexes or communities in all of the South Bay. The reason is simple as there’s simply no land left to build on. Occassionally extrodinary lots get sold, or commercial/industrial gets sold and rezoned but it’s definitely rare. There was Fusion South Bay built around 2006 and then Threee Sixty built around 2014 but there hasn’t been too much else.
Waypointe in El Segundo, along with the adjacent Pacific Landing (built by the same builder but consisting only of single family homes) is one of the most recent communities.
Built by D.R. Horton, Waypointe is a townhome complex off of Imperial Highway consisting of 6 buildings with 34 new construction townhomes. The first ones were completed and sold towards the beginning of 2019 and the last ones are just being completed and sold now. The community consists of two buildings with 7 homes and four buildings with 5 townhomes. The homes are located on Imperial Ave, so airplane and airport noise are definitely a factor, but from the interiors of the homes the impact is minimal as the builder went to great efforts to mitigate the external sounds that can be heard.

All of the homes are 3 story townhomes with 3 bedrooms and either 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths ranging from just over 1,200 square feet to just over 2,000 square feet.
The homes all have attached 2 car garages and roofdecks.
