What’s the Latest on El Segundo Real Estate

Let’s take a quick look at the real estate market in El Segundo during the past 12 months.  The number of homes for sale in El Segundo have bounced around a bit with the number of active listings, pending sales and closed sales dropping in the past few months.

Below is a chart showing the average “list” prices as well as the average “sold” prices.  The most recent months show that while list prices have gone up quite a bit in the second half of the year, the sale prices have headed the other way.

Home sales and home prices in El Segundo CA

November was an impressive month for both the number of home sales in El Segundo and the prices with 13 on market property sales.

  The median “asking” price was $1,199,000 with the median “sold” price at $1,180,000 indicating that we’re still in a very hot seller’s market.

The average price per foot (not super relavant in El Segundo) was $722 and the average days on market was 38 wit the median days on market before selling a very brief 10.

Real Estate Market Update – Home Sales and Property Prices in El Segundo in October

October was another solid month for real estate in El Segundo CA.  There were 13 home sales in this coastal community which was a solid number although much lower than the record month of September 2020 with 20 homes selling in El Segundo. The median “list” price was $1,469,000 with the median “sold” price of $1,469,000 meaning that homes basically sold for full price. The average price per foot was $714 and the average days on market was 52.
