The highest priced home sale in El Segundo for September was a spacious 5 bedroom 4 bath Mediterranean style home built in 2005.  The home was located directly across from Center Street school so given the location this is a very impressive number.  The home offered a spacious layout with over 3,800 square feet on two levels.  There’s a good amount of space with an almost 6,600 square foot lot, but there isn’t much actual “yard” space due to the saltwater pool and spa.  It’s a big number given the location but it was a beautiful home that felt newer than the 2005 year built.

Welcome to the real estate recap for El Segundo in September.  It was another very good month in this Southern California coastal city.  There were 16 home sales which was down a bit from the 20 a year earlier.  The median home price was $1,546,000 which was considerably higher than the median sold price of $1,247,000 in September 2020.  Homes averaged only 15 days on the market before going into escrow.  See how this compares with other months on our El Segundo real estate trends page.
