Median Home Price in El Segundo Tops $1,000,000

The January home sales numbers are in and the median home prices for El Segundo in January was a whopping $1,074,000. Although the market is certainly continuing to rise the jump of almost 35% was due mainly to the types of homes that closed in January. Unlike previous months the bulk of the homes that sold were larger single family homes on large lots, and multi unit properties. The highest sales price was for 802 Center Street which closed at $2,150, 000 which is a very large number for this coastal community. It wasn’t long ago that home sales in El Segundo approaching $2.0M was fairly unheard of. Click here to view the home sales in El Segundo and South Bay for January 2016.

Our Latest Fusion Sale – New Price Record for an “A” Floorplan
We’re happy to announce our latest sale at 5404 W 149th Place in Fusion South Bay. We represented the sellers of this beautiful “A” floorplan condo in one of the South Bay’s only newer construction gated communities. El Segundo CA Home Prices Up in December
The December numbers are in and if there was any thought that the real estate market in El Segundo was leveling the numbers certainly say otherwise.
The average home price in El Segundo for the homes that closed escrow during December was $1,023,000 with a median price of $999,000. Those are big numbers that still shows no sign of slowing or reversing. See the chart below for the December home sales numbers for El Segundo and the South Bay for December of 2015.
